Overview

What is the Kanaka ?

Kanaka is a secure, invite-based online community operated by iMAD Research Inc. (Delaware, USA), where individuals participate in market and opinion research surveys and earn rewards such as cash payments and e-gift vouchers.
Membership is completely free and open to adults aged 16 or above (or the local age of digital consent).
Members are rewarded for sharing their honest opinions through online surveys, quick polls, and research discussions.

Taking part in Surveys

How do I participate in surveys?
  • Register a free Kanaka account using your valid email address.
  • Confirm your email via a verification link (double opt-in).
  • Complete your demographic profile to help match you with relevant surveys.
  • You’ll start receiving survey invitations by email, and you can also access available surveys by logging into your Kanaka dashboard on the website.

Participation in every survey is voluntary, and you can skip or stop any survey at any time.

Where are surveys published?

All active surveys are listed in the main dashboard when you log into your Kanaka account.
Members also receive survey invitations by email notifications and mobile alerts (if enabled).

Each survey invitation includes:

  • The estimated completion time,
  • The reward value, and
  • The study’s general purpose (e.g., consumer feedback, product testing, B2B research).
What are profile surveys and why should I complete them?

Profile surveys help Kanaka better understand your interests, experience, and demographics so that you receive the most relevant and rewarding surveys.

Completing or updating your profile:

  • Earns you bonus points,
  • Increases your chances of qualifying for paid surveys, and
  • Ensures your participation data remains accurate and compliant.
  • We recommend updating your profile every few months to capture new information or categories.

Account & Profile

Can I cancel my account?

Yes. You can close your Kanaka account at any time:

Log in to your account, click your name in the top-right corner, and select “Unsubscribe” or “Delete Account.”

When you cancel your membership, your remaining points or rewards balance will be forfeited immediately and cannot be reinstated.


If you wish to withdraw from the panel under privacy laws (e.g., GDPR “Right to Erasure”), you can also request deletion via privacy@kanaka.com.

I have a problem or query. How do I contact you?

If you are already a member, and can login to your account, it is best to login and submit your query via the help section. If you cannot login, or access your account information please use the contact form on the homepage.


I have a problem or question. How do I contact Kanaka?
If you are logged in, submit your question through the Help & Support section inside your dashboard.
If you cannot log in, please use the Contact Us form available on the homepage, or email support@kanaka.com.
We aim to respond within two business days.

 

I forgot my password and can’t log in.

You can reset your password anytime:

  1. Go to the login page.

  2. Click “Forgot Password.”

  3. Enter your registered email address and follow the instructions in the password reset email.

For security, password reset links expire after a short time, so act promptly.

Points and Rewards
Do you offer cash rewards as well as gift vouchers?

Yes. Kanaka offers both cash and e-gift rewards.

  • Cash rewards are paid via PayPal or direct bank transfer (subject to eligibility and verification).
  • E-gift vouchers include Amazon, GiftPay, and other regional partners.

Rewards are typically processed within 7–10 business days after completion and quality verification of the survey.

How do I earn points?

You can earn Kanaka points in several ways:

  • Registering and confirming your account (sign-up bonus).
  • Completing your demographic and profile surveys.
  • Taking part in paid surveys or polls.
  • Referring friends and colleagues who successfully join Kanaka.

Each completed activity clearly displays the reward value before participation.

How can I redeem my rewards?

Log in to your Kanaka account and go to the Rewards section.
From there, you can:

  • View your current points balance,
  • Choose your preferred redemption method (cash or voucher), and
  • Follow the on-screen steps to complete your claim.

Minimum redemption thresholds and regional payment methods are displayed in your rewards dashboard.


Do my points expire?

Points remain valid as long as your Kanaka account is active.
If your account remains inactive for 12 months (no survey participation or login), your points may expire or your account may be closed under our Terms of Use.

 

Privacy and Consent

How is my data used and protected?

Kanaka follows strict global data protection standards:

All data processing complies with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA, and India DPDP Act 2023.

Your survey responses are anonymized and aggregated for research purposes only.

You can withdraw consent or delete your data anytime via privacy@kanaka.com.

Do I have to take every survey I’m invited to?

No. Participation is always voluntary. You can skip, pause, or decline any survey without affecting your account status or eligibility for future opportunities.
